Colorado's historic and devastating Missionary Ridge Forest Fire was over 15 years ago. Nearly 75,000 acres burned. Over $40 million dollars spent. Today tree saplings are just beginning to grow on their own accord, much like the familiar and ever present weeds along the ridge and trails.
