Witch's Hat Water Tower

Designed by architect, Frederick William Cappelen, and constructed in 1913. Prospect Park Water Tower occupies the highest natural land area in Minneapolis. Built to improve water pressure to the homes in Prospect Park. The tower was decommissioned in 1952, but has been preserved as part of the city's history. The Witch's Hat Water Tower and Tower Hill Park are listed in the National Record of Historic Places.
