I was traveling through Yellowstone - Hayden Valley three years ago and we were on the hunt for wolves. We spotted a couple of Moose galloping through a huge open area and as the snow started to fall, we thought because of the size of this guy it was at first a wolf. Once it turned and shot that look at us, we realized the size of this Coyote! Made me wonder about the stories you hear about "CoyWolves". Coyote Wolves breeding. Is it myth? Is is fact? Either way, this was honestly the healthiest massive Coyote I had ever seen and he sure stared back!
