Less than fifty kms away from its source in the middle Himalayas , the Balganga river flows here free and uninhibited by any man made dam.Women of this area make regular visits to the river to fetch water for the household. The river sometimes becomes a place where women gather and talk amongst themselves. And then again they go back their own way.
