15th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest People

I didn't capture her whole body, but she was fully dressed in long, dark clothing despite the intense heat and humidity. I found it absolutely captivating to see her stand out in a crowd of people wearing shorts and bright t shirts. Her headscarf became her superhero cape.
