The baluch are an Iranian people who live mainly in the Balochistan region, located at the southeasternmost edge of the Iranian plateau, encompassing the countries of Pakistan, Iran, and Afghanistan. The people of Balochistan are deprived of the basic rights of citizenship, even having a birth certificate, and as a result, they have been denied access to many facilities, including education and employment.
