It was the firs time I visited Myanmar. When I was at Shwedagon Pagoda, I saw a lot of Burmese female sweeping the floor around the pagoda. Asking a local here, I noted that all of them are volunteers. They sweep the floor to make the experience more pleasant for the bare-foot visitors.
