"Wood Line" by artist Andy Goldsworthy uses fallen Eucalyptus trees to weave through the forests of the Presidio.
This past summer I visited my son and his wife who live near and work in San Francisco. My son is a National Park Ranger and holds the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (US NPS) in high regard. Part of the city tour included this unique visit to one section of the forests of the Presidio where artist Andy Goldsworthy created this illusion of an unending trail made with fallen Eucalyptus trees being guarded by the living trees.
