This photo shows two workers at the "Salinera de Maras"in the Sacred Valley of the Inkas in Peru. "In the salt extraction and elaboration process predominate the traditional social relationships of communitarian type, keeping till the present its traditional way. The salt production system is inherited from parents to children, as it is testified at the present by many elder community people that have worked their wells since they were children as their parents, grandparents and ancestors did."(UNESCO)
