Workers of rice mill

It is a rice mill. Which is called Chatal in Bangladesh. Here, from morning to evening, rice is boiled, dried, sorted, stored, filled with sacks. After parboiling, the rice is dried in the sun for 3-4 days. After drying for a whole day, it is covered with a big bamboo lid. The lids are very triangular in shape. The workers of Chatal stay here all day along with their families. They do this for little money. Their children spend time playing here. Next to this mill there are small houses for their accommodation which are given by the mill owners for their accommodation. There are rice mills in different places of Bangladesh. I went to Ashuganj to see the living system of Chatal people. It is located in Brahmanbaria district. Most rice mills are here. All types of rice mills are available here. Paddy is brought from the field by truck. Then the processing of paddy to rice begins. After all the rice work is done, it is sent to the factory to extract the rice. This is how Chatal's life continues.
