I was crossing the border from Kenya to Tanzania on foot so to speak. As I waited in the bus for others to finish their customs this woman approached me with hopes Id buy some of the trinkets from her. I told her that I love photography and asked her whether it would be okay to take a photo of her instead and pay her versus purchase something. She happily agreed. Once she saw I liked photographing her she brought her child and asked if I wanted to photograph her too. I nodded and followed suit.
