I was in downtown Jackson, MS and came across three statues depicting well known Mississippi writers William Faulkner, Eudora Welty and Richard Wright. This hand in particular belongs to Richard Wright. I'd read his literature in school such as "Black Boy" and I was surprised to see this monument dedicated to them.
