People are performing wudu (Islamic procedure for washing parts of the body, a type of ritual purification) to prepare themselves for the afternoon prayer in 'Bishwa Ijtema' , an annual gathering of Muslims in the outskirts of Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is one of the largest peaceful gatherings in the world.
