Yarchen Monastery
Yarchen monastery is in Sichuan province, China. It lies in an isolated valley 4000 m above sea level. The monastery is associated with the Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism . With more than 10,000 Sangha members now, it's the largest concentration of nuns and monks in the world. Most of the Sanghas are nuns.
