YELLOW BUTTERFLY: Cloudless Sulphur

A Cloudless Sulphur butterfly settles on a group of fuzzy green leaves. Life-cycles: According to what I have just read, as an adult BUTTERFLY this cloudless sulphur will only get to grace our presence for a short time; his lifespan based on how we view him in this photo will last only between 2 and 4 weeks. In fact by the time I’m writing this he’s already gone. It isn’t fair! Why can’t his beauty last a bit longer? Why does all that is beautiful eventually die? Well…if you look back into his butterfly world you’ll discover that he’s already traveled such a long journey to become the butterfly in the exact stage we view in this image. In fact, we all know, based on the butterfly’s life cycle that it took significant growth AND a lot of work for him become who he is in this picture. Lessons from this cloudless sulphur: you may find yourself in a state of beauty OR you may be in a state of growth. In this image we can’t see the butterfly’s growth; we only see his beauty. But, remember that sometimes, personal growth BECOMES beautiful, even if you can’t always see it. So, when you look back on your own life be graceful, remember it may have taken you a lot of work to stand where you stand today. Embrace this stage, embrace all of your ages and stages because one day just as this cloudless sulphur they’ll be gone… Appreciate how far you’ve come to get to where you currently are. Cherish today. Enjoy today’s beauty, for the beauty of today is fleeting and nothing in this world can really EVER last forever…
