Young Dassanech warrior
While in the past the Dassanech - especially the younger children and women - would compete for the tourists' attentions (and therefore for tips) by adorning themselves with various western civilisation detritus, this has drastically changed in the last two years. This means they can now return to their more traditional decorations and attire which in turn means they live more naturally. This image is from a young warrior/herder as he prepared to head out for the day's work across the Omo river.
