This young woman is a member of the Red Robes, who are a core element in the Extinction Rebellion (XR) movement.The picture shows her arriving at the church crypt near Waterloo Station, London, in October 2019, where a large number of protestors are getting ready for the mass XR demonstration in the capital which is being covered extensively by the national and international media. As she was very striking to look at, I asked if I could photograph her. She said yes.
