17th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest People
Young Monks Serving Tea.
My partner and I were in Kathmandu and checked out this monastery where prayers were being said. It was peaceful and a chance to get a break from the intense heat outside. We sat on a mat for a while and two of the younger monks kindly brought us tea.
