Zion Glamping

In the remote areas of the American Southwest, carts and tents offer accommodations while merging with the surrounding sandstone cliffs and majestic red rock formations. This seemingly anachronistic view of the Southwest, is part of a new trend in traveling: glamping. Glamping offers camping-like access to Nature while providing most of the commodities of standard hotels. While certainly being less visually or nature invasive as a standard hotel, glamping is often criticized as "not-a-true Nature experience" and more resource intensive than just camping. Nevertheless, glamping reflects the true dilemma of humanity trying to remain in contact with Nature and minimize its impact in a increasingly technologically dependent modern society.
