Zion Mule Deer
While waiting to go on a ranger-led hike near Weeping Rock, I spotted these gentle creatures foraging on a hillside in Zion National Park. While it was pretty quiet to my ears, they stood at attention this way every minute or so just to make sure there weren't any unwelcome onlookers.
